Woodrow W. Smith, Jr.

Woodrow W. Smith, Jr. passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born on June 16, 1951, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Woodrow and Annie Smith.

Woodrow attended Nicholls State University, where he played basketball. He was a long-time member of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church and was a proud business owner of S & S Battery Company in Baton Rouge.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Woodrow is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Steven Voivedich; his sister, Sandra Smith; and his grandchildren, Naomi Voivedich, Sophie Voivedich, and Kehl Voivedich. He is also survived by his ex-spouse, Leanne Phillips and his dear friend, Robert Ramsey.

Visitation will be held at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, 9340 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815  on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 11:30 a.m.
