Winnie Anselmo

Winnie Anselmo, age 95, went to meet her Savior in glory, on October 2, 2015.

Winnie is survived by her daughter, Tammie Kelley and husband, Buddy; her three sons, Larry Anselmo, Bubba Anselmo and wife, Wanda, and Barry Anselmo and wife, Renee; her son-in-law, Russ Thibodeaux; her grandchildren, Rachel Godawa (Travis), Jeremy Kelley, Amber Lott (Trent), Bridgette, and Courtney Anselmo, Raymond Anselmo, Crissie Wheelock (Alex), Callie Anselmo, and Justin and Hannah Anselmo; her 16 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Pansy Hocker.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Sam R. Anselmo; her parents, Ether and Rachel Spurlock; her daughter, Judy Ann Thibodeaux; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Garrison Wheelock; and three brothers, Andy, Jack, and Ewell Spurlock.

The family requests visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 1:00 PM until the time of services.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at 3:00 PM.

Interment will take place at St. George Mausoleum.
