Windom Brignac

Windom Raymond Brignac, 81, resident of Baton Rouge, died December 31, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Windom was born August 28, 1931 in Lake, LA. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Lambert Brignac four sons and daughtersinlaw, Michael Brignac, Shauna, Malcolm Brignac, Laura, Lance Brignac, Julie, and Len Brignac Jennifer and daughter and soninlaw, Patricia Brignac Talbot, Todd one sister, Audrey Brignac Smith, and four sistersinlaw, Winnie May Brignac, Jeanne Millet, Sr. Adele Lambert, and Stephanie Vicari ten grandchildren, Justin Moe, Bryan Brignac, Rebecca Brignac, Nicholas Brignac, Christopher Brignac, Ben Brignac, Timothy Brignac, Daniel Brignac, Addison Talbot, and Amelia Talbot. Preceded in death by his parents Valentine Brignac and Marie Agnes Brignac motherinlaw and fatherinlaw, Aline Broussard Lambert and Dave Lambert two brothers, Gordon Brignac and Valmon Brignac sistersinlaw Marie Simoneaux and Mary Frances Hudson and three brothersinlaw, Louis E.D. Smith, David Lambert, and Robert Lambert. Windom will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his gentle soul and contagious smile. Windom was the founder owner of Baton Rouge Duplicating Products in Baton Rouge for 50 years. He retired in 1999. He was an active parishioner at St. George Catholic Church and longtime supporter of the athletic programs and CYO programs. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Resthaven Funeral Home on Jefferson Hwy on January 2nd from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on January 3rd at St. George Catholic Church on St. George Drive. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. George Mausoleum. There will be a reception immediately following at the Kleinpeter Activity Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Josephs Academy and St. George Catholic Church..
