Wilma Bossier Blossman, age 91, a resident of Covington, LA, passed away on November, 16, 2016.
Wilma was a dedicated educator and close to her students. She loved her family and was devoted to her daughters and grandchildren. Wilma was an avid card player and always competitive. She loved and was devoted to her nieces and nephews, Julia, Bill, Ann, Jim, Bryan, Deb, Charlotte and Camille. She enjoyed watching their children grow up and in her later years she especially enjoyed seeing her great-great nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her two daughters and their families, Donald and Sandy Kearns and Gordon and Barbara Philibert; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patrick and Andrew Kearns, Ethan Philibert, Caroline P. Culotta and husband Johnny Culotta; and her brother, Harding Bossier.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Blossman; her parents, Will and Clara Core Bossier; her sister, Edna Ducote and her brother, Leonard H. Bossier.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, 70816, on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 1:00pm until funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow.
