Willie Thibodeaux

A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at his residence. He was 93 and a captain in the U.S. Army. Survived by wife, Ruth Behrnes Thibodeaux five sons, Jimmy Thibodeaux and wife Anna Chauvin, Tommy Thibodeaux and wife Lura Sheehan, Ronny Thibodeaux and wife Barbara Masey, Mike Thibodeaux and wife Melissa Edwards and Ned Thibodeaux and wife Brenda Licata daughterinlaw Ginger 14 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and a great great granddaughter.. Preceded in death by father and mother, Henry and Florence Thibodeaux a brother, Cloid and two sisters, Billie and Evelyn. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Resthaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.


A Memorial service for W.H. Buddy Thibodeaux and his wife Ruth Thibodeaux will be held on Thursday, May 24, at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 8833 Goodwood Blvd. Visitation from 9 am until service at 10 am. An Inurnment will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd immediately following the memorial service.
