William Waite, Sr.

A native of Grove Hill, AL, former resident of Baton Rouge, LA and resident of Cooper City, FL passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at his home. He was 70 and a retired career counselor for the elderly with the Catholic Life Center.

Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway on Friday, Oct. 10 from 79 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 am until service at noon, conducted by Pastor Merlin Liverman. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hamner Waite daughter, Danna Cavin Wiese and stepdaughter, Jennifer Greg Herbert sons, William Claude, Jr. Tiffany Waite and Mark Erin Waite and stepson, Mike Jennifer Allen brothers, Paul Janet Waite and Phillip Elizabeth Waite sisters, Anne Charlie Helms and Betty Denio and grandchildren, John, Gabe, Caleb and Charlotte and stepgrandchildren, Cooper, Logan, Hamner and Nolan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Graham and June Miller Waite first wife, Cynthia Gwynn Waite and brother, Graham Waite, Jr. Resthaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
