William Vennard, Jr.

William (Bill) Ogden Vennard, Jr. passed away at home on June 1, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born on November 14, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. William Ogden Vennard and Pearl Mayer Vennard and a sister Linda Vennard Lee. He is survived by his siblings Virginia (Ginger) Witherspoon (Wardlaw), Sandra (Sandee) Stroman (Byron), and Sally Vennard and his brother in law William (Bill) Lee and wife Anna. He is also survived by his nieces Tracey Hutchinson (Chuck), Sheryl Jung (David) and Becky Overton (Mark) and nephews William (Bill) Lee 111, Wardlaw Witherspoon 111 (Kim) and John Witherspoon (Sally) and great nieces Mary Kate Hutchinson, Lee Ellen Hutchinson, Raelyn Lee and Katherine (Ryn) Witherspoon and great nephews Jackson Witherspoon and Clyde Overton. Bill graduated from L.S.U. with a Master's in Business and worked as a financial analyst in the field of banking. He enjoyed studying Louisiana, photography, swimming, scuba diving and taking underwater pictures. There will be a private graveside service held at Resthaven Cemetery.
