William Templet

William Joseph Templet, age 73, native of Plaquemine, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at his residence.

William was a retired employee of Dow Chemical. He loved to be outside, either fishing or gardening. William was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church. He was a Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Templet; sons, Troy Templet & wife Shelia, and Burt Templet & Susan Templet; grandchildren, Gabrielle Templet Geiger and husband Corey, and A.J. Templet; brother, Charles Templet and wife Doris; sister-in-law, Deanna Salamoni; and numerous nieces and nephews.

William is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mamie Templet, and in-laws, Ulysses and Daisy Acosta.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 12:00 PM until the time of services.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
