William Millet

A loving husband, father and grandfather and a long time native of Baton Rouge, LA died on August 25, 2012 at 11:30 pm at his residence in Maurepas, La, after a battle with bladder cancer. He was 86 years old. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, August 31, 2012, from 9 am until service at 11 am. A rosary will be said at 10 am. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by daughters, Katherine M. DeRoche and Patricia M. Guilbeau and husband Wade Son, Michael J. Millet Sr. Brother, Norris Millet and wife Barbara Jean, 6 grandchildren, Ursin DeRoche III, Dannielle DeRoche, Matt Zeringue and wife Candace, Katie Millet, Mike Millet Jr. and Rachel Millet. He is preceded in death by his wife Ella Mae D. Millet Parents, William J. Millet Sr. and Lucie Mire Millet and infant daughter Judy Millet. Pallbearers are, Wade Guilbeau, Ursin DeRoche, Matt Zeringue, Norris Millet, William Millet and Joey Devillier. Honorary Pallbearers are, Robby Zeringue, Terry Zeringue and Donald Hood. He served as an altar boy most of his childhood and was a graduate of Leon Godchaux High School in Reserve, LA. He was a faithful supporter of Boys Town of America. Golf, fishing and gardening were 3 of his favorite hobbies.
