William Mcintyre, Iii

A retired professional musician and resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center. He was 70, a native of Baker and a Navy veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and in the chapel Thursday from 8 a.m. until service at 9:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Lawton Searcy. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Geraldine Gerry McIntyre daughter and sonin law, Tara and Carl Jeanise three sons, Nathan and wife Jennifer McIntyre, Troy McIntyre and Russell McIntyre sister, Katheryn Smith and husband Sammie brother, Ronnie McIntyre and wife Gidget and 3 grandchildren, Emily and Noah McIntyre and Matthew Jeanise Preceded in death by his parents, William N. Jr. and Guyma Moore McIntyre and brother, Mike Boo McIntyre. He was a member of Dayspring Church and ASCAP. Memorial donations can be made to Dayspring Church, 1715 Hwy. 30, St. Gabriel, LA 70776.
