William Manning

William “Bill” Hybart Manning, Jr., age 67, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away in his home on March 28, 2022.

Bill was a friend of Bill W. and made many lifelong friends through his association with Alcoholic’s Anonymous. He touched everyone he met with his infectious laugh and good-natured humor. Bill never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He adored time spent with his family and friends. Bill would want you to know that in this world, you will have trouble but you can find peace. John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Page and his children William (Cassandra) Manning, Christina Manning, Jason (Rachel) Manning, Alycia Manning, Nichole (Mitchell) Bond, and Christian (Jessica) Manning and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father William Hybart Manning, Sr, mother Talitha Pauline Enfinger Manning, and brother, Mitch Manning.

The family wishes to thank Modern Hospice, Ochsner Cancer Clinic, Keesha, Rassie, and Ivory for their loving care.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 1:00pm until services at 3:00pm.
