William C. Bud Krauth, native of Beach Grove, IN and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the age of 70. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathy M. Krauth daughter and soninlaw, Robin Michelle Krauth and Christopher Sigafoos three granddaughters, Brittany Nicole, Ashlyn Rayne, and Cassidy Renee Johnson one sister, Marie Gibson of Indianapolis, IN numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Stumper. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Leona Krauth brothers, Joseph and Butch Krauth and sister Daisey. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Friday, July 6, from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Bud served 13 years in the Marine Corps, and was Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America for many years. As an Industrial Carpenter he helped build St. Lukes Hospital in Kenner, La, River Bend in St. Francisville, La, and the Grand Gulf in Port Gibson, MS. He also worked at LSU handling grounds and maintenance. Bud loved Halloween and was an amazing carpenter who enjoyed making toys for his grandchildren. He touched many lives with his time here on earth and will continue to touch many others by being an organ donor for our US troops.
