William H. Pat Patty Pat Harrell left this world January 9, 2010. Pat was 82 and died peacefully surrounded by family who will carry him in their hearts always. He was a land developer and contractor, but his proudest accomplishment was the development of Tranquility Lakes, a Christian encampment located in St. Helena Parish. He was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church, a past deacon, and teacher. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather. Pat was a United States Navy veteran and served in World War II. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, singing, and sharing the Word of God. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Visiting from 9am Wednesday, January 13, 2010 until service at 11am Wednesday in Chapel. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy June Garig Harrell, two daughters, Judith Leah Harrell Cazedessus and husband Camille of Pagosa Springs, CO, Laura Lea Harrell Gresham and husband Frank of Prairieville, LA, and son William Brad Harrell and wife Audrey of Baton Rouge, LA seven grandchildren, Candace Harrell Kimbrough and husband Darryn, Khristina Harrell Trujillo, Aaron Matthew Harrell, Micah Pierce Harrell, David Andrew Schweinefus, William Matthew Gresham, Lukas Lanford Gresham two greatgrandchildren, Peyton Alexandra Kimbrough and Parker Joseph Trujillo. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Pasteur Harrell and Annie Mae Frazier Harrell three siblings, Louis Pasteur Harrell Jr., George Donald Harrell, and Leah Lucille Gray and one son, Robert Louis Harrell.
