William Hampton

William Jerry Hampton, age 72, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.

William is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cynthia Hampton; his son, Brandon Hampton and fiancée, Heather Alonzo; his two daughters, Melissa Penn and husband, Joe, Valerie Hampton Griffin and husband, Mark; his brother, Mark Hampton and wife, Fran; and his eight grandchildren, Dallas, Caitlin and Georgia Penn, Tylar, Kennedy and Reece Griffin, and Shane Hampton and Leland Christina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Susan Hampton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
