William K Gremillion, Jr.

William K. “Bill” Gremillion, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born June 6, 1948, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to W.K. and Sadie Coco Gremillion. He attended St. Aloysius Catholic School, Catholic High School and the Louisiana State University. He was a Commercial Realtor with Latter & Blum and a Certified Commercial Investment Member.

Bill loved to fish and play golf with friends and family. He loved to host fish frys and following football at Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his 8 grandchildren.

Bill was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and served there as a Eucharistic Minister. He also volunteered with the United Way preparing tax returns for the less fortunate. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nora Gremillion Mackler.

Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Raymond Gremillion; his daughter, Sarah Bunch (Will Bunch); his sons, Will Gremillion (Sarah Assouline) and Chris Gremillion (Samantha Bordelon); his grandchildren, Layla Gremillion, Sadie, Charli, and Macie Bunch, Liam, Sam, and Malia Gremillion, and Neil Gremillion. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Susan Schott, Janel Gendron, Nancy Kora, Marsha Blackmon, Laura Brown, and Darleen Dias; his brothers, Robert Gremillion and John Gremillion; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane in Baton Rouge on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m.
