William "Bill" Brandsford Greene, Jr.

William Brandsford Greene, Jr., who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on March 14, 2015. Bill was born on August 1, 1945 and was 69 years old.

Bill was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi and a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Emily Greene; daughter, Patricia Greene of New Orleans, LA; son, Will Greene and his wife, Stephanie of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Owen William Greene and soon to be born, Emma Terese Greene; and best friends, Buddy and Janelle Elliott of Baton Rouge, LA and Mike and Pinkie Foil of Jackson, MS.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Bill, Sr. and Ola Mae Greene.

The family requests that visiting hours along with a reception are to be observed on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 8833 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 3:00 PM.
