William Daniels, Jr.

William "Bill" B. Daniels, Jr., age 86, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home on Friday, April 15, 2016. Bill was an avid tennis player and he was also a veteran of the U.S. Army after serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Ann Cox and husband Joe; son, Blake Daniels and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Bill Daniels IV, Leslie Daniels Gugliuzza and husband Tyler, Garnett Ferguson and husband Lucas; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Connor Gugliuzza and Liam and Connor Ferguson.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Jean Daniels, and parents, Blake Sr. and Ava Daniels.

Special thanks to Shelia, Nita, Sage, Amber and the staffs of Home Instead and Bridgeway Hospice for the outstanding and compassionate care given to Mr. Bill over the last years of his life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 12:00 pm until services at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bridgeway Hospice, 13702 Coursey Blvd #5b, Baton Rouge, LA 70817.
