A retired salesman and resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at his home. He was 81, born in St. Amant and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Tuesday, June 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home chapel Wednesday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry ODell. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Shirley Braud Daigle two daughters, Debbie D. Evans and former husband Paul, and Diane Falgout two sons, Michael Daigle, and David Daigle and wife Danielle 11 grandchildren, Nicole Dardar, Bryan Blank, Rachael and Regan Evans, Jacob Falgout, Joshua and Jared Falgout, Kristine Daigle, Michael Daigle, Hunter Daigle and Emily Daigle and grandchild, Justin Dardar. Preceded in death by his parents, Rene J. and Louise Daigle two sisters, Emily Stafford and Ladola Vicknair five brothers, Jessie, Royce, Alonza, Rene and George Daigle. He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Milford lodge, FAM. .
