William Carr

A resident of Baton Rouge, LA and native of Somerville, New Jersey, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11:45 p.m. at Ochsner Medical CenterBaton Rouge. He was 55 years old. He worked for Noble Manufacturing Company. He was an avid New York Giants fan. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Florence Morris Flo Carr his mother, Anna P. Carr daughter, Courtney Carr and Steven Segura and grandchild, Steven Andrew Segura, Jr. sister, Ann Carr brother, Charles Carr and motherinlaw, Camilla Guercio Morris. Preceded in death by his father, Charles P. Carr special uncle and aunt, Oakie and Mary Carr Dyer. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana, Inc., 8200 Hampson Street, Suite 425, New Orleans, Louisiana 70118 or donationskidneyla.org. The family is asking for donations because Bill was so ever grateful to his beloved brother, Charles, for donating a kidney.
