William “Scott” “Pops” Bozzell, a cherished resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on July 06, 2021.
Scott was born and raised in Oakdale, Louisiana by Leola Gibson and Dub Gibson. He graduated from Oakdale High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. As Director of Finance at H&E Equipment Services, he accounted for so much more than monetary matters. Scott cultivated a family environment and positively affected individuals everywhere that he went. To know him was to love him. He was also a proud member of the AARP from the very day that he reached the ripe age of 50 years old.
He is survived by some of his biggest fans: his daughter, Brittany Bozzell, his son, Jonathan Bozzell, and his brother, Gary Bozzell. He is also survived by four dearly admired grand-cats, one grand-guinea pig, and one now-adopted grand-bird.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Leola Gibson, and his brother, Clark Bozzell.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on July 9, 2021.
