William Borne

William F. "Bill" Borne, age 58, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., passed away on August, 16, 2016.

William was a loving husband, proud father, and a mentor to many. He was a true visionary with a "larger-than-life" presence. Bill was a very giving man. He was the founder and former CEO of Amedysis, a national home health care company and continued to contribute to the betterment of the health care industry. His family will miss him dearly.

William is survived by his wife, Wendy Stabiler Borne; his children, Courtney Borne Scaff and husband Jordan, Hanna Borne Green and husband Brent, Jaci Ann Borne, and William Jacob Borne; his siblings, Audrey Bossier and husband Joseph, Joan Clement and husband Kenneth, Lorraine Roussel and husband Robley, and Reynold Louis Borne, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynold Louis Borne, Sr. and Audrey Vicknair Borne; Matthew Joseph Bossier and Christen Elizabeth Clement.

Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, La. 70815, on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, La 70816.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sister Dulce Foundation, Inc., 17560 George O'Neal Rd., Baton Rouge, La. 70817.
