Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Skip went to be with the Lord, whom he loved so much, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in El Paso, Texas. All who he touched and loved will me him greatly. His family and friends will always remember him as a sensitive, selfless and loving person. Skip was born in Columbia, South Carolina and lived in Baton Rouge for 17 years where he practiced law for several years before moving to El Paso, where he worked for the past 11 years. Service will be held in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1:30pm.Conducted by Rev. Ron Tyndall of Parkview Baptist Church. Skip leaves behind his mother, June Black his only sister and brotherinlaw, Kathy and David Hart his niece and nephew, Lauren and Patrick Hart his grandmother, Stella Jordan aunts and uncles, Tom and Jane Henderson and Terry and Carolyn Jordan and eight cousins and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Black his paternal grandparents, Larkin and Ethel Black his maternal grandfather, M.C. Jordan and uncle and aunt, Hagood and Louise Black.
