Wesley McKay Griffith was born December 17, 1997. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior, July 28, 2017.

He is survived by his parents, Dr. Gilbert Griffith and Sarah McKay Griffith; his siblings and their spouses, Catherine Griffith Nosacka and husband, David of Evanston, Illinois, Ashley Griffith Simoneaux and husband, Dr. Walter Simoneaux of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Christopher William Griffith and wife, Casey of Prairieville, Louisiana, Jennifer Griffith Cheatham and husband, Scott of Metairie, Louisiana. He was also loved and survived by his nieces and nephews; Giles, Katie and Christian Nosacka, Hudson and Channing Simoneaux, Aidan and Devan Lagrone and Deisal Griffith, Avery and James Cheatham; his aunt, Toni Schexnayder Guerin and spouse, Jeremy Guerin; uncles and aunts, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Griffith, Dr.and Mrs. Parker Griffith and their children; his "Maw Maw", Mrs, Louise Meng.

Wesley is preceded in death by his "Paw Paw", Harry Meng; his grandparents, Albert Franklin McKay and his wife, Mattie Chapman Mckay of Baton Rouge and Rolf Parker Griffith, Sr. and his wife, Helen Burford Griffith of Baton Rouge and Huntsville, Alabama.

Wesley attended Parkview Baptist, where he played football and Chamberlain Hunt Military Academy. He completed high school at Youth Challenge Program in Carville, LA. He attended River Parishes Community College and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of Healing Place Church. He was loved by many and will be remembered for his love of life and love of Jesus. He was known in the Griffith Family as "Uncle Woo Woo." His best friend of many years, Cade Williams, was a close and dear friend.

Pallbearers will be Scott Cheatham, Chad Comeaux, Gilbert Griffith, Nick Hebert, Bill Waguespack, Walter Simoneaux, Cade Williams, and Ryan Williams.

Visitation on Wednesday, August 2nd. at 9 a.m. -11 a.m. will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA., 70816. Services at 11 a.m. will be conducted by Reverend Paul Musso from Healing Place Church.
