Warren S. Stabiler, Sr., loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Thursday afternoon, March 3rd, at the age of 77.
Adored by family and many friends, he leaves behind shared moments and memories that will live forever. God put him on this earth to be enjoyed by many never to be forgotten because of his humor, generosity and personality. He was a native Baton Rougean, a youth coach at St. Agnes Catholic School, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School and CYO Catholic Baseball League from the 1960's through the early 1980's. His personality ruled the Nottingham Nursing Home for the past 15 years. Prior to the nursing home, Margaret and Warren owned a print shop til 2000. He touched many lives and when he did, memories were created. His name always brings a smile to the faces of those that uttered his name.
Warren is survived by his wife, Margaret Ferrara Stabiler, to whom he was married for 56 years; one son, Warren Stabiler, Jr. and his wife, Mary Bearden Stabiler; two grandchildren, Lura Elizabeth Stabiler and Warren "Seth" Stabiler; three brothers, Donald Stabiler, Wayne Stabiler, Sr., and Dennis Stabiler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, R.J. and Vera Stabiler.

Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow on the grounds of Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA.
