Self-employed with Learning Land Child Development Center in Hammond, she died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 67, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of St. Landry. Memorial service at St. Landry Baptist Church, St. Landry, on Saturday, April 12, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Kris Chenier. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bob Felknor, of Denham Springs; daughter, Judy Soileau, of Denham Springs; stepdaughter, Kim Goodwin, of Arkadelphia, Ark.; son, Danny Soileau, of Lafayette; sister, Margie Thibodeaux, of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by her parents, Sam Barone and Rosa Dorman. She was a member of Child Care Association of Louisiana and Louisiana Cattlemen's Association. She was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center or Louisiana Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship Fund, 4921 I-10 Service Road, Port Allen, LA 70767.
