Wanda Ammons

On Thursday, July 15, 2021 Wanda Evelyn Ammons was called to meet our glorious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Wanda was 64 years old and was a lifelong  resident of EBR, Livingston & Ascension Parishes.

Wanda was a RN for 22 years prior to having her own medical issues that forced her early retirement. Her faith in the Lord helped her through her many medical problems, but finally she had enough with her latest 9 month battle with brain cancer. Wanda enjoyed her Baptist faith and worshiped at Healing Place Church for the past year.

She is survived by her two brothers, David B. Ammons and wife Lorraine, Steve C. Ammons and wife Janice; four nephews, Drew Ammons, Brian Ammons, Blake Ammons, Chris Ammons and her companion of 40 years, Linda Cascio.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ellis Cedric and Mary Opal Ammons.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 9:00 am -10:00 am. A private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
