Walter B. Jordan, a former longtime resident of Central, LA passed away at 4:18 pm on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Veterans Home in Jackson, Louisiana. He was 90, born on September 23, 1921, in Buckatunna, Mississippi.He was a retired warehouse foreman at Kaiser Aluminum in Baton Rouge, LA and an army veteran of WWII. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5 pm8 pm and to resume on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 12 pm until service at 2 pm conducted by Pastor Ken Jordan and Pastor Dennis Terry. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Linda J. Gautreau and husband Bowman, Denise J. Arnold and husband Bobby three grandchildren, Beaux Gautreau and wife Stacy, Travis Gautreau and wife Jennifer, Diana Evans and husband Ed two step grandchildren, Rusty Roshto and wife Allison Andrea Arnold. Preceded in death by his wife, Verna Mae Jordan son, Walter Kyle Jordan grandson, Shane Michael Roshto parents, Ben and Edna Jordan three sisters, Neolia Skipper, Effie Skipper, Sue Barrett and brother, Olice Jordan. He was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, and a 50 year member of the Baker Masonic Lodge FAM. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
