Walter Blanchard

A retired security guard with Exxon Refinery, he died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 87, a native of Klotzville and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. Visiting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 14, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Ann Blanchard daughter, Sandra Waguespack and husband Clyde sons, Ray Blanchard and wife Donna, and Don Blanchard and wife Donna six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Dalbert and Lucille Blanchard two brothers and three sisters. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Associates, 8119 Picardy Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
