Vivian Smith

Vivian L. Smith, age 92, a resident of Baker, LA, passed away on June 11, 2016.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee Mahan and husband, Tommy; her grandchildren, Scott Mahan, and Michelle Deselle and husband, Tommy; her great-grandchildren, Kristin and Corey Richard and Devin Deselle; her great-great-grandchildren, Noah, Avery, Karley, and Emily; her sister, Lucy Blouin; her brother, Daniel LeJeune; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Smith; her parents, Baptiste and Leonia LeJeune; her sisters, Isabelle and Bessie; and her brothers, Oliver and Leon "Bud".

Visiting hours will take place on Monday, June 13, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, beginning at 9:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Kakarala, Dr. Rabalais, Dr. Ward, D. Logue, Dr. Manalac and Dr. Soni. They also wish to extend a special thanks to aid Bobbie, nurse Samantha, social workers, Karen, and Ximaena, and the staff of Hospice of Baton Rouge.
