Vita “Pat” Digirolamo Pocorello, homemaker and co-founder of Pocorello’s Casa d’Italia, passed away peacefully Monday, February 26, 2024 in the care of Clarity Hospice.
She was 80, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a graduate of Redemptorist High School.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, February 29. Visitation will resume at St. George Catholic Church on Friday, March 1 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 AM. The Mass will be conducted by Bishop Michael Duca and co-celebrated by Fr. Miles Walsh and Fr. Cleo Milano. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
Vita is survived by her husband Charles V. Pocorello, Jr.; three sons Charles “Noonie” Pocorello and wife Liz Tomeny Pocorello, John “Mickey” Pocorello, and Anthony Pocorello R.N.; ten grandchildren: Cassidy Pocorello R.N. and partner Gustavo Diaz M.D., Mary Kate Ritchie, John Ritchie, Luke Pocorello, Robert Ritchie, Nicola Pocorello, PFC Michael Pocorello U.S. Army, Paige Pocorello Prevot M.D. and husband Adam Prevot M.D., Tony Pocorello, and Ethan Pocorello; and two great grandchildren: Mila Diaz-Pocorello and Piper Prevot.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph M. Digirolamo and Ruby Romeo Digirolamo.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gerald Miletello and Dr. Lara Falcon for all the personal care given these past 3 years.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu flowers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
