Virginia (Ginny) May Parks Parrish, age 86, a native of Scotia, NY and a resident of Gonzales, La, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 in Baton Rouge.
Virginia is survived by her children, Lynn Holtzclaw, Virginia Arens and husband Greg, Kathleen Parrish, Paul David Parrish and wife Danyelle; grandchildren Lisa Hotlzclaw, Tami Kelley, Jamie Arens, Gabrielle Naquin and husband Michael, Alden Cabrera and Stephanie Templet, and Austin Cabrera; great grandchildren Alex Holtzclaw, Spencer Kelley, Ayden and Azallea Templet, brother Gilbert Parks, and sisters in law Mary Stelk, Susan Hoover (Jerry), and Marie Parrish.
She is preceded in death by husband Richard H. Parrish, Sr., son, Richard H. Parrish, Jr., son in law E. Wayne Holtzclaw, and grandson E. Wayne Holtzclaw, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery on Friday, August 13th at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cara’s House in Ascension Parish, CAAWS, Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge, or any cancer charity in Virginia’s name.
