Virginia Campbell

Born April 5, 1936, in DeRidder, she died Monday, May 23, 2011, at home in Baton Rouge. She was a retiree from BellSouth. She will always be remembered for her kindness, great cooking and her love for flowers. There will be no service following cremation. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Tommy Wayne Campbell stepdaughter, Gail Duncan and husband Major three grandchildren, Brian and wife Jeanne, Richard and wife Carrie, and Amanda Duncan two greatgrandchildren, Heaven and Brian Duncan Jr. cherished niece, Beverly Triche and husband Archie and nephew, Michael Blackwell and wife Chalma. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elva Blackwell sister, Mable B. Bourge and two brothers, Robert Lee and Hansford Lee Blackwell. The family would like to thank all of her friends for everything they have done for her over the last few months. A special thanks to all the aids and her nurse, Miss Pauline of Baton Rouge Hospice.
