Viola Bryson

Our precious mother, Viola B. Bryson, passed away peacefully at the Butterfly Wing in Baton Rouge, LA on April 9, 2022. She was born in Reserve, LA on September 30, 1927 and was a resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by three daughters, Corliss Poche (Emile), Carmen Fousse (Barry), and Joanna Efferson (Larry); ten grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar L. and Nora Denaux Braud; her beloved husband, Joseph A. Bryson, Jr.; daughter, Sue Ellen McCauley; twin grandsons, Robert and Gregory Holley; and great-grandson, Philip Smith.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
