March 4, 1939 — January 22, 2016

Vincent Luke "T-Man" Dubroc, 76, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of January 22nd, 2016 at his home in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born on March 4th, 1939 in Bordelonville, LA, son of the late Sylvan and Anolia Dubroc. He graduated from Bordelonville High School in 1957, then moved to New Orleans. It was there he met and fell in love with his wife, Kathryn "Kitty" Kelly. They were married in 1965 and moved to Baton Rouge, LA where he began his lifelong career in insurance sales and management.

As a young man, Vince served in the Louisiana National Guard, and continued being of service to his State, his church, his family, and his community throughout his life. He was an active and valued member of St. Thomas More Parish and their Knights of Columbus chapter. He shared his knowledge and passion for his Acadian heritage, teaching Cajun French to eager students of all ages. He was also an active board member at the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson, LA, offering comfort and help to those who served.

Vince was an instant and treasured friend to everyone he met, never hesitating to generously help those in need. He loved to cook, volunteering for countless events in the community. He loved gardening, history, football, and heated political debate. He will be remembered for his boundless humor and energy, his overwhelming charisma and charm, and his seemingly endless supply of larger-than-life stories. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
