A retired orthopedic appliance salesperson and a resident of Maurepas, he died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was 79, a native of Erwinville, and a veteran of the Army National Guard. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Feb. 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a recitation of the rosary by Knights of Columbus No. 6531 at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jon Koehler, celebrant. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Naomi Roth Roubique two daughters and three sonsinlaw, Linda and Colen Rojas, Laurie and Steve Petty, and Carl Neyland Jr. two sons and daughtersinlaw, Rodney and MeMe Roubique, and Frank and Saundra Roubique sister, Rosemary R. Hall, of Antioch, Tenn. 13 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank B. Roubique and Angeline Scorsone Roubique daughter, Phyllis Roubique Neyland brothers, Blanchard F. Roubique and Angelo R. Roubique sisters, Marie Roubique Thigpen and Evelyn Roubique Vicknair nephew, Jason Scott Thigpen niece, Marilyn Ann Roubique and soninlaw, Joe C. Nowlin. He was a member of St. Pius X Always Young Club, Holy Rosary Catholic church Ushers, American Legion Nicholson Post No. 38, and a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus No. 6531. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
