Vera Hebert

Vera R. Hebert passed away at the age of 92 on Thursday, November 27, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Irma Lee B Jackson and husband Jim, and her stepchildren whom she loved as her own, Judy H. Burns and husband Gene, and Darlene H Jones and husband Robert Matt Hebert and wife Cindy nine grandchildren, twelve greatgrandchildren, and five greatgreat grandchildren, brother, Gail Woody Richardson and wife Patsy. Vera is preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Hebert, Sr. parents, James Josh and Ada Harrell Richardson sisters, Sammie R. Robbins and husband Leroy, Virgie R. Tanner and husband Ballard brothers, Louis Richardson and wife Ruth, Delton Richardson and wife Lydia, and William Bill DeArmand and wife Cat.
The family would like to give a special thanks to South Louisiana Hospice, staff of Nottingham Regional Rehab Center, Home Instead and personal sitters for all of their generous care and support.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume Monday, December 1, 2014 from 8:30 AM until funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
