Tyler Alden Tanoos Johnson, age 27, was taken into the arms of our Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
Tyler was a 2009 graduate of Tara High School where he played baseball. He attended L.S.U. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA, but resided in Greenwell Springs, LA. Tyler was employed by Bomac Contractors as a construction coordinator/estimator, but was previously employed by Turner Industries.
Our sweet Tyler was loved by many and liked by all. Tyler loved God and had a generous heart. He was an extremely dedicated son, brother, uncle and employee, who always put others needs before his own. His mannerisms always left others in awe. While his family always came first, he had a great passion for baseball and shared his love of the game with his nephews. In his spare time he enjoyed assisting the coaches on his nephew's team. When it came to sports he "Loved Purple, and Lived Gold." There wasn't a LSU football or baseball game he missed. His fun loving, life of the party, hardworking, gentle, caring, selfless personality will forever be missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Tracy Alden and Teri Tanoos Johnson; his brother, Brandon Lee O'Neal; sisters, Heather Johnson Lofton and husband Tommy and Brooke Johnson Petty and husband Sean; nephews, Connor O'Neal, Beau Petty, Tripp Lofton; nieces, Brynn Petty and Aldyn Lofton; grandmother, Lucille Kenney Johnson; aunt, Tina Smith and husband Randy; uncles, Gordon Wray Johnson and wife Dr. Angela Johnson, M.D. and Ernest Nicholas Tanoos, Jr.; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Nicholas Tanoos, Sr., Shirley Gwendolyn Tanoos, and Felix H. Johnson, Jr.
