Troy Lucas Jr.

Troy O’Keith Lucas Jr., born on November 13, 1985, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He transitioned from earth to eternity on December 21, 2022, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center from a lifelong struggle with chronic asthma.

Troy was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Troy was raised as a Christian and he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age. God gifted Troy with the talent and love for music. He was a self-taught musician, writing music and playing multiple instruments. When he actively attended church, he always served playing a musical instrument. In the final chapter of his life, he spent time praying, reading, and meditating on the word of God.

To cherish his memories Troy leaves his children; Ta’jah Jack, Aja Dixon, his namesake, Troy O’Keith Lucas III, Sibling, Terrance Lucas, a devoted ex-wife LaToya, four aunts, five uncles, one nephew and a host of relatives and friends. Troy touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed, leaving memories that will forever be in all our hearts.

Troy was preceded in death by his father Troy O. Lucas Sr. his mother, Marsha Lucas - Curry, both maternal and paternal grandparents.
