Travis Scott David, 41, was involved in a very tragic accident Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, and went to be with his Lord. He was born Oct. 6, 1970, and was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and coach to many. He always enjoyed life to the fullest with his saying Thats just how I roll. No matter what he was involved in, he was the life of the party. His memory will live on forever because anyone who had the privilege of knowing him will surely never forget him. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kristie Calloway David four children, Candice Georgette Taylor, Alexis Lind David, Skylar Kade David and Larsyn Rylee David his parents, Russell and Jenny David brother, Ryan David, his wife Tina, and their daughter, Sylvie brother, Jason, and his wife, Jennifer his motherinlaw and fatherinlaw, David and Valarie Calloway two sistersinlaw, Shannon Calloway Laird, her husband, Joel Laird, and their sons, Layton and Dylan, and Misty Calloway Richard, her husband, Harold Richard, and their daughters, Victoria Tori and Jaycee. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Boots and Genevieve Tircuit his grandfather, Russell David Sr. and a niece, Katlyn Nicole Laird. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Nov. 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a religious service at 7:30 p.m.
