Thomas Richey

Thomas Tommy Hiram Richey native of Lafayette, La and resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 56. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Saturday, March 2 from 9 am until religious services at 11 am, conducted by Bro. Thomas Denton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will include Billy Richey, Tommy Richey, Damon Townsley, Dick Hicks, Mike Leonard, Carroll Richey, Chuck Simon, and Emmett Boudreaux. Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Madeline Estay Richey daughter, Holly Elizabeth Richey son, Thomas Little Tommy Joseph Richey stepfather, Joseph L. Cooper four sisters, Marlene Hulett, Paulette Watts, Jane Woods, and Lydia Williams two brothers, Billy Richey, and Carroll Richey and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Louise Necker
Cooper and his father, Vernon Thomas Richey. Tommy earned a Bachelors degree in Applied Life Science and a Masters in Business Management from USL in Lafayette, La. He was currently employed at Baker Hughes as a Field Specialist and was involved with Primerica. He was a member of Grace Life Church and taught Sunday school at Parkview
Baptist for numerous years. Tommy was also a member of Masonic Lodge 372 and Acacia Shriner Club. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
