Thomas Henry (Tommy) Hebert, 82, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 after a long struggle with heart disease and a stroke. A resident of Baton Rouge since 1965, he was born in Donaldsonville and reared in White Castle, Louisiana. He honorably served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He was a former shoe buyer for Bart-Well, Inc. and inside salesperson for Pelican State Supply Company and DXP, Inc. He was a former usher at St. George Catholic Church, where he was a devout member since 1977. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years Deborah “Debbie” Brown Hebert; sister, Nell Hebert (Snee) of Bedford, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph L. and Yvette Hebert of Alexandria; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Philip I. Hebert, Sr., mother, Mildred Landry Hebert, brother and sister-in-law, Philip I. and Gail Hebert, brother, William J. Hebert, and brother-in-law, Glenn Snee, Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with a Funeral Mass at St. George Catholic Church at 11:30. Christian burial will follow at St. George Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Stanley Joseph Ott Trust Fund, % the Diocese of Baton Rouge, P.O.
