Terry Sweatfield

Terry Stormy Sweatfield, 72, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Vernal, UT, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, March 1, 2022.

Terry was married to the love of his life of 40 years, and devoted his life to his family and friends. He loved golfing, all things LSU, Saints Football, and spending time on the beach with his family. He, along with his wife own two neighborhood bars in Baton Rouge, The Patio Lounge, and The Pour House. This is where you could find him spending his time, talking with his regulars, reminiscing on old memories, and enjoying his favorite cocktails.

He is survived by wife Stacey Sweatfield, his Children, Danielle Sweatfield (Quinn Savoy), Mitchell Sweatfield (Emily Sweatfield), and Erin Picou (Stephen Picou), Granddaughter, Ainsley Savoy, as well as multiple Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, Brother in-laws, Terry Bruckner (Faye Bruckner), Kevin Reilly, Sister in-law Candyce Bruckner.

He was preceeded in death by his mother, Ruby Sweatfield and father Carl Sweatfield, Step-Father, Cliff Massey, Sister, Karleen Reilly, Mother in-law, Lena Bruckner and Father in-law Wallace Bruckner.

Graveside Funeral and Burial will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home on, Monday, March 7th, for immediate family only. A celebration of life will follow on, March 12, 2022 at the Patio Lounge at 2:00 p.m., to honor his life and memories with his loved ones.

The family of Terry Sweatfield wishes to send our most sincere thanks to, Molly Terrell, for keeping the businesses running in a time of need, along with our bartenders who never let us down. His lifelong best friends, Brant and Sue Casford, Ted and Brooke Jackson, Calvin and Rhonda Lindsly, for going above and beyond for anything we needed during this time and being the best friends we could ever ask for.
