Terry Price

Terry Glynn Price, 65, a native of Baton Rouge, was born September 19, 1951, and passed away November 1, 2016.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Rhorer Price, daughter Summer Price Moore and husband Donny Moore, son Hooper Price and wife Anna Maranto Price, brother Malcolm B. Price Jr., wife Marilyn Price, and two nieces, Mackenzie Price Shaw and Olivia Price. He was known as 'Good Daddy" to his four grandchildren a name which he certainly lived up to. Van, Adare and Tripp Moore and Gentry Price were his most treasured and precious blessings.

He is preceded in death by his parents Malcolm B. Price and Frances Lay Price.

A contractor by trade, he was an intelligent business man who boasted an entrepreneurial spirit and had a keen eye for business endeavors. Terry attended Broadmoor High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He enjoyed playing football in his younger days and working alongside his father, also known as "Good Daddy," in the construction business. Terry was the owner of Gulf Slate Towers and M.B. Price Contractors. He loved to design and build. He served on the Board of Adjusters for 30 years, and acted as president intermittently during this time. Terry sincerely enjoyed the company of his friends and was known for his energetic stories, charismatic presence, and his most generous and giving heart. Even through hardships, Terry's faith and family stayed of utmost importance to him. He will be deeply missed by many but is finally resting peacefully with Jesus.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 4, 2016, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home in Baton Rouge. A Celebration of his Life will Immediately follow visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Active pallbearers are Hooper Price, Mackie Price, Donny Moore, Mark Washauer, Nick Chandler, and Matthew Fressell. Honorary pallbearers are Van and Tripp Moore.
