Terry James

Terry L. James "Goggy" was born January 26, 1950 in Winn Parish to Myrtus Grace James and Willie James. He passed away on May 26, 2017.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who spent his 40 year career in loyal service at Exxon/Mobile.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jennifer Loy James. His daughter Tara Lyn Jones, her husband Jason Bradley Jones and their son Jacob Ryan Jones; his daughter Theresa Loraine James and her husband Michael Fuehrer; his two brothers Ben James and wife Rita James; Jackie James and wife Jacqua James and many cherished nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Myrtus and Willie, his brother Larry Dale James and his beloved Frannie.

The family would like to express gratitude to the staff of The Carpenter House for their kindness and care.

Visitation will be held at St. Jean Vianney Church, 16166 S Harrells Ferry Road, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, May 29, 2017 from 9:00am until funeral service at 10:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation For Pancreatic Cancer Research or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
