Terri Lambert

October 7, 1959 — January 21, 2019

Terri Lyn Aull Lambert, 59, a life-long resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away gently on the morning of January 21, 2019 after a courageous eight year battle with cancer. Terri was at peace with her life and she “kept on keeping on,” cherishing every moment she had with her loving family.

Born on October 7, 1959 in Baton Rouge as the third daughter of Walter C. Aull and Nina Mae Smith Aull, Terri attended St. Gerard Elementary and graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1977. After graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Joseph Lambert. Terri was dedicated to her family; a patient, kind-hearted, loving wife and mother, she adored her children, grandchildren, great grandson and her little dogs.

One of Terri and Daniel’s favorite activities together was spending time at their camp, where she enjoyed a morning Mimosa, reading, doing needlework, and watching the beautiful sunset over the water. Terri also loved LSU Tigers football, tailgating and watching with family and friends. She was active in improving her community by volunteering at the Carnival fundraisers for Shenandoah Elementary and the Woodlawn High concessions fundraisers. Terri worked for 34 years in office management, beginning with Lambert’s Heating & A/C, and finishing her long career for the industrial valves and controls with John H. Carter Co. She was recognized for her years of service, high work ethic and excellent job performance.

Terri is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Lambert; her 2 children, Amie Lyn Bliss and husband Joshua, Robert W. Lambert and wife Emily; her sister, Kaye A. LeBlanc; her 5 grandchildren, Gary (Trey), Caitlin and Kaleb Martin, Ellie and Maggie Lambert; her great grandson, Jackson Martin, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter C. Aull and Nina Mae Smith Aull, and eldest sister, Elizabeth Ann Aull Gill.

Thank you to numerous family members and friends who dearly loved Terri and who shared in her joy of life. Thank you to Vince Cataldo, MD, Renee Levine, MD, Dustin Denicola NP, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, and Pinnacle Hospice.
