Taylor Pastorek

November 4, 1997 — September 14, 2018

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying:
John 11:25
Taylor Paul Pastorek, age 20 years, of Baton Rouge began his eternal life on September 14, 2018. He was born on November 4, 1997, the son of Rick Pastorek and Bonney Jarreau Wallis.

Taylor attended St. George Catholic school where he received the St. George Award. He was a 2016 graduate of Catholic High School and a member of St. George Catholic Church. He was currently a Junior at Louisiana State University majoring in Business and a member of Theta Xi fraternity. A hard worker, he was Assistant Manager at Geaux Clean Car Wash.

Taylor Paul was a kind and gentle young man, who enjoyed life, family and his many friends. Family gatherings were always a priority. Each summer he attended the Jarreau Family Reunions held in Gulf Shores, Alabama and during the winter he attended the Pastorek Family ski trip. He was always there to brighten the lives of others as he always put them before himself. He loved all outdoor activities especially snow skiing, riding dirt bikes and hanging out with his friends in the neighborhood. He looked up to his older brother, Chandler and was very protective of his younger siblings Emma, Mason and Noah. Although he was shy, he had his own style and character. One could always depend on him. In many ways he was like his "Paw Paw" Cecil Jarreau.

He touched the lives of many people with his kindness, smile and generosity. He will be missed, but never forgotten as he lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Taylor Paul is survived by his father, Rick Pastorek, his mother, Bonney Jarreau Wallis and husband, Henry Wallis, Jr. He will forever be remembered and missed by his best friend and devoted brother Chandler Pastorek. He is lovingly missed and is always admired by his little brothers Mason and Noah Pastorek and his loving step-mother Heather Pastorek, loving sister, Emma Jones and step-brothers, Alec Jones, Zaylan Wallis, and step-sister, London Jones.

He also leaves to cherish his memory of his fraternal grandfather, Richard Pastorek and maternal grandmother, Patricia Jarreau.

A huge influence throughout Taylor's life was his Aunt Laura Prescott. She has a special bond with Taylor and Chandler that can never be replaced.

He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandmother, Marilyn Pastorek and maternal grandfather, Cecil J. Jarreau Jr.

Additional family members cherishing the memory of Taylor Paul are his Aunts and Uncles: Steve and Sally Pastorek, Lynn Consentino, Tom and Lisa Gallagher, Chris and Beth Jarreau, and Ricky and Anissa Jarreau.

Cousins: Shelley Prescott and her son Collin Prescott, Brad Prescott, Tyler Prescott, Tina Berg, Tessy Kingery, Anthony Consentino, Vincent Consentino, Sabrina Palozzotto, Sam Consentino, Rachel Tyler, Sarah Cossack, Bobby Gallagher, Tommy Gallagher, Jack Gallagher, Reese Gallagher, Holly Jarreau, Scott Jarreau, Troy Jarreau and his son Aiden Jarreau.

Pall bearers will be: Chandler Pastorek, Mason Pastorek, Tyler Prescott, Troy Jarreau, Scott Jarreau, Tommy Gallagher, Collin Prescott, and Eric Andries.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
