T Lewis

TJ Lewis 89 a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was born October 9, 1923 in Simpson, LA to Elijah and Belle Jackson Lewis. He proudly served in WWII European Theater in the 71st Division Infantry. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and received numerous medals including the Bronze Star. He attended Stanford University and graduated from Northwestern State University. He owned Capital City Business Services and Lewis and Rogers Insurance Agency. He was an enrolled agent with the IRS and a Mason. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, Baton Rouge on Saturday, January 12, 2012 from 10:00 am until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Georgia Smith Lewis, daughter Barbara Lewis and three sons Terry, Brian and Michael Lewis and a special nephew Ted C Lewis. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
