Syble Earlene Cox, 75, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Feb. 28, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Monday, March 1, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by Gordon Atwell, pastor. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Cox three daughters, Angelia Nauman and husband Jerry, Jackie Schlup, and Felcia Adebamiji and husband Dele son, Dorsey Quillin and wife Joni Jacks sister, Sue Ann Shelton and husband Jacky 13 grandchildren, April McCorkle, Ray Phillips, Christopher Gorman, Dorsie Quillin, Candace Haselden, Danielle Quillin, Dayna Quillin, Micah Schlup, John Schlup, Adaku Adebamiji, Nwadiuto Adebamiji, Ifedapo Adebamiji and Toyin Adebamiji and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Earl and Beaula Mae McDonald, and Erbin Dorsey Quillin Sr. Pallbearers will be Dorsey Quillin, Christopher Gorman, Micah Schlup, Ray Phillips, Mack McCorkle and Jerry Nauman. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Perkins and Dele Adebamiji. She was a member of Faith Family Church.
