Susie Denham

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sheri Susanne Denham. She was born July 5th, 1956 and died on Sunday March 10th, 2013 at the age of 56. Susie was the youngest daughter born to Betty Jean Posey Denham and Wesley Denham of Baton Rouge. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Susie will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Susanne is survived by her children, Melissa Rayne Stanton and husband Matt of Templeton, California, Lily Sawyer and husband James of Perkinston, MS., Samuel Callaway of Ventura, California, father Wesley Denham and sisters Cyndi Efferson and husband Bill of Baton Rouge, Vickie Corcoran and husband Bill of Jersey City, NJ., seven grandchildren, Miranda and Tyler Stanton, Soren Borst, Colt, Paladin and Liam Sawyer and Beaux Callaway. She was preceded in death by an unborn infant, mother Betty Jean Posey Denham and grandparents. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, La 70816 on Friday March 15, 2013 from 10:00am until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. A Sheri Denham memorial fund has been established at Whitney Bank. The family wishes to express gratitude to the caregivers of the Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing for their kindness.
