Susan Elizabeth Cino Small passed away on April 17, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the comfort of her home. She was born on January 27, 1967, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Margie Ann Cino and Oscar Joseph Cino. She served her country in the Army National Guard from 1988 to 1996 and later became an attorney when she graduated from Loyola Law School. She married her loving husband, Steven Andrew Small on August 8, 1992, in Kenner, Louisiana, and was with him until the time of her passing.
She leaves behind her husband, her two adult children—Christine and Benjamin, her brothers Antonio (Tony) Cino and Christopher James Mitchell, and her half-sister, Teresa Chow. She is preceded in death by her mother and her half-brother, Antonio Lucas Ortiz.
She spent her life dedicated to God, her family, and her many beloved pets. She was dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be remembered fondly for her sharp intellect and sweet disposition.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. A Celebration of Life to follow.
